Soulmate Journey, It’s the Journey not the Destination

A soulmate journey can be a long, winding path. But this relationship is about the journey and not the destination.

After soulmates meet, and begin their path together, obstacles arise that must be overcome.

These are the challenges the couple face and they offer the opportunity to be learning experiences.

There are so many people that yearn for the connection only soulmate relationships can bring. But they often don’t know what they must do to obtain it. These soulmate journeys can be difficult and stressful, though necessary.

WHAT’S THE RUSH?

There also seems to be a big rush in the development of soulmate relationships these days. Many people seem to think you should go from the dating stage to the relationship stage very quickly. Due to the overwhelming emotional bond between soulmates, these relationships do tend to move rapidly.

Slowing down the momentum is actually good for the couple, because they have a chance to get their bearings. Quite often when soulmate relationships move at lightning speed a sudden speed bump shows up on their journey. Now one, or both of them, may freak out and question the connection itself as well as their feelings about their soulmate. They may face the issue of denial.

That’s just one example of the hurdles along the way a spiritual partnership will encounter. The pair brings out in one another what needs to heal and change for them to move forward down their path together in harmony. Should they decide to linger on these stops along the way too long, the relationship becomes problematic. They can make excuses for themselves, or even for one another, for not creating change. Those excuses do nothing but enable the lesson to repeat itself. Over, and over, and over again.

 SOULMATE JOURNEY REQUIRES GROWTH

We’re all here on this planet to grow as spiritual beings by having human experiences. As we have these experiences, especially in the form of soulmate relationships, we grow and evolve to become better people. And what you learn along the way is very, very important. Each member of the couple will have teachable moments. They will provide the lesson and assist their partner. Sometimes, they will be the student.

A couple at some point may go on different paths during their soulmate journey. They will have to do the work solo. Sometimes, believe it or not, this break is the best thing that can happen on a soulmate journey. It provides the opportunity for them to release past baggage, heal, and shed their individual fears and issues.

When the soulmate couple reunites, they have made real progress on their individual journey. Now they can walk hand in hand together going forward as a united front on their spiritual path.

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” ~~ Ernest Hemingway

  1. You make a lot of sense. There are no shortcuts on the soulmate journey. Every bump in the road is a lesson to be learned, and we choose our path along the way.
