The Purpose of Soulmate Relationships

The purpose of soulmate relationships is not to provide the greatest romance of your life. If only it were that simple.

The true purpose of a soulmate relationship is to make each of you a better person. This occurs by bringing about personal change and spiritual growth.

They don’t call them “growing pains” for nothing.

GROWTH AND CHANGE AREN’T EASY

Growth is very often painful and unpleasant. Change is difficult. However the rewards of growth and change is awakening to live a more purposeful life. This will ultimately give you a relationship with the love of your life, your soulmate.

If you resist the change and don’t learn the lessons, your relationship causes more pain than it does pleasure. There are things you must either shed or change to evolve spiritually. The same goes for your soulmate.

These are issues what will eventually poison your relationship if you don’t change them.

For example, let’s say you’re a person with abandonment issues. Your soul blueprint states this is one of the lessons you must learn. The universe wants you to deal with that issue, so it’s no longer a problem in your life.

So the universe provides someone with whom you have a spiritual connection. You can have faith in the connection and use that to help you get past the idea that everyone will leave you. On the flipside of that, you can succumb to the fear that issue brings and create only more insecurity within yourself.

If you choose the latter, your soulmate relationship will suffer.

You may let them behave badly and because of insecurity refuse to speak up. If you fear your soulmate will leave you, you may test your soulmate constantly. You may even become a soulmate runner because you’d rather leave your soulmate than wait around for them to leave you.

All of those things will ultimately ruin the relationship.

CREATE A HAPPIER VERSION OF YOURSELF

The purpose of soulmate relationships is to create a new happier future for yourself. You do this by letting your old self go by the wayside. The universe is giving you the opportunity to stop sabotaging your relationships and get the relationship you deserve.

How could the purpose of soulmate relationships be for the two of you to act like idiots and treat each other badly? It can’t be. So if that’s what the two of you choose to do, you will reap what you sow.

The universe has a purpose when they create this connection. It wasn’t so you can make cute social media posts and break up all the time, only to get back together. They don’t want you to be insecure, manipulated or have a dysfunctional relationship.

You have a spiritual connection to your soulmate, so it has a spiritual purpose. Period.

Look at your soulmate relationship. Is it a spiritual one or one for reality television because it has so much drama? If it’s the latter, you need to bring yourself back to a spiritual level, and operate from there, and so must your soulmate.
