Are You Ready for a Soulmate?

Ready for a soulmate? Most people truly believe they are.

As a matter of fact, many people tire of waiting for a soulmate to appear. They believe it’s not fair that they’ve had to wait this long as it is. Now they experience frustration because a soulmate doesn’t present themselves. But are you truly as ready as you think for a soulmate to manifest?

Soulmates are not like they seem in movies, television and romance novels. These are usually tough relationships, so prepare yourself.

THE UNIVERSE DECIDES WHEN YOU’RE READY FOR A SOULMATE

No matter how ready you think you are try to avoid feeling impatient and entitled. We usually don’t respond in a positive way to people who are impatient or entitled, do we? No. So why do we think the universe will respond positively when we’re behaving the same way? We shouldn’t.

We’re not in control of when, where and how a soulmate comes into being. We may believe we’re ready but the Universe may not. They create the connection, so they’re in charge. Hate to say it, but not everyone gets a romantic soulmate in every lifetime. You may want one, but that does not mean you won’t get one.

That’s not to say you can’t find love in your life.

You may not need a soulmate relationship and all of its challenges. There are so many perfectly happy couples that truly love one another out there. They are not soulmates, so they don’t have to go through all the drama that can come with them. A label doesn’t make your love story any more important or magical than any other. Labels are for egos.

If you do have a soulmate, divine timing will determine when they appear. It is up to the Universe and it will happen in their time, not ours.

If we try and take too much control we can’t reasonably expect positive results. If we believe in the concept of soulmates through the connection the universe creates, then we must ultimately leave control up to them. Sure, there are things we can do to help. We should be more open and make ourselves available. This is better than staying home, eating bonbons and being a hermit.

But we can’t do it all! And although we may be ready for a soulmate, we also may have to learn patience.

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SOULMATE CHALLENGES

If so many people are ready for a soulmate, why do they experience problems when their soulmate shows up? For one thing, many folks are unprepared for the chaos a soulmate relationship brings with it. They don’t realize there are life lessons and personal growth experiences. And in many cases they resist the changes they need to make.

They repeat the same mistakes over and over again. But instead of looking inside themselves they put the blame solely on their soulmate. They’re shocked when their soulmate becomes a runner and are horrified if their soulmate suddenly denies the connection between them.

They’ll also be heartbroken when their soulmate seriously misbehaves. All of this occurrences seem to take people by surprise. Why? They said they were ready for a soulmate. How did they not know all of those scenarios are very common occurrences.

Many people think being ready for a soulmate means to just be willing to love and accept them unconditionally. To truly be ready for a soulmate one must not just focus on romance and martyrdom. Soulmates are supposed to strengthen each other and help each other become better versions of themselves. The problem is too many soulmates bring out the worst in each other.  How can a relationship get better when the individuals involved just get worse? It can’t.

So when you encounter a soulmate, you may find yourself not as prepared as you thought you were for the roller coaster ride ahead of you. Don’t let the trials and chaos drag you down. Instead use the opportunity to find within yourself strength and power you never knew you had.

    • You will have to get a reading for that James. The advisors do not do readings via blog comments or email.
